Can anybody take a quick video of a couple of dervish ce's dancing together? I can't find anybody to dance with me, or anybody else already doing it. I want to see!

I'm quite happy with the /dancenew. I wasn't around for the Factions release, but we had this same problem at the Prophecies release. People were saying things like, "OMG! Anet charges us $20 for sparks on our hands while we dance?!". No. Your extra money buys you the Soundtrack, the larger box, the (gorgeous) art book, the map, etc. If you're buying the CE for the in-game items, frankly, you're buying it for the wrong reason. I bought the Prophecies CE, and the Nightfall CE, and I'm extremely happy with both purchases, and would buy them both again, knowing exactly what they get me. It's really, really not about the in-game stuff, folks. Those are extras.

I completely agree with that. Soundtrack and artbook is why I buy them. And when the original CE came out my old headset had just broke.

Everyone has their own reasons for buying the CE and Anet has a responsibility to try to please the customers as much as they can.

Oblivously lots of people like having new dances and a lot of people buy it for that reason. Just because YOU don't care about the in-game stuff or don't think it should be about that doesn't mean other people don't.

Whoa.. Disco Balls and Confetti tossing. And when you sync it just looks even better. If only I could keep Divine Aura on while dancing.

Oh and if you start dance new, and then switch to dance.. you can do the normal dance with special effects.

so they patched dances

here´s my opinion + few suggestions how to make them even better:

opening and final part is really cool, when disco ball is destroyed/remade... but in rest of dance, yea, there should be MORE of glowing or glitering too (it just looks little bit empty), so you don´t have just disco ball above you (or maybe during that time, disco ball should change its color and spread light around )
you know "empty part" should be shorter

same goes for paragon, confeties should be there longer and they should remade when is paragon hmm how to call it.. flexing? in 3/4 of dancing...

but nevermind... dances are so sweet... i can´t stop watching them

Really, Im not satisfied with the "effects" taht have been added to the sig CE dances... They look like fast cheap work... Compare them to Divine Aura or Factions Sig dances, they are so... uh... well, cheap... :/ Flying squares? Sorry not impressed, Id rather turn them off... Why cant you add something pretty and for once, something extra for ALL the classes, not just new ones :/

I will show you the two effects...don't know if anyone posted them but anyway you'll see...they glow now! lol

The Dervish dance under a disco ball
The paragon dance under a light with confeties going everywhere (No the light isn't the sun ! )

Pretty cool party dance.....
Check it out

well, yesterday, with launch there were no effects, so maybe yes.... it is fast work... we will see what will Gaile tell, maybe there will be some changes in near future and dances will get more effects (mainly in that "empty parts" where are only balls around you). Or are they already in "final version" ???

My femal Dervish CE looks awesome. Not only do I get a disco ball, but also blue sparks spiralling around me and shooting from my hands, NOT squares like the Paragon have.
